Challenge 21

Theme/Criteria: The title of this challenge is “Greed [as a sin]”, we are focusing on the sin of Greed. Be creative, but images must be related or inspired by one of the following statements

• Money makes the world go around!
• It’s mine, all mine!
• Power – to have it is to be close to heaven – or is it?

What can you submit?: all sorts of images – photographs, paintings, vector art, graphics, 3D and paintings and sketches.

Deadline: May 25th, 2008, 9.00 pm GMT If your entry isn’t in by that time, consider yourself disqualified.

Instructions: Your entry MUST be tagged with CCW21 AND submitted to the group! If you do not tag your work or submit it to the group, it will not show up in our list and so, it will not be included in the judging so it must be tagged and submitted to the group!

Restrictions: You may only have ONE ENTRY PER CHALLENGE!

Guidelines: You MUST follow the RedBubble code of conduct and our group guidelines as stated below:
No pornographic, offensive or abusive material
Please show respect for your fellow Bubblers and hosts while making comments
Moderator decisions are absolute and final

Am I mistaking or this theme has already been used at a recent challenge cafe competition?

We have run with Pride [written and visual], Gluttony [Visual], Envy [Visual] and Lust [written] – not done Greed yet though

This is going to be a good one. I am on it like a tired child to a bed. Going to be hard, but Ill do it.

If there has been a Written&Visual, Visual, Visual, Written, Shouldn’t it be Writtens turn again or is this just part of the Greed theme?!!! Please clarify, as this seven deadly sins atmosphere is challenging my sense of fairplay immensely.

There is no set pattern, we will however be covering a written and visual of each sin over time. May I add here also, the original idea of challenge group was for visual work [the object being to hopefully generate some sales to keep continued funding], but we decided that we should include some written and also Tshirt challenges as well.

Question. Do you generally acknowledge receipt of entries to a challenge or do I hope for the best? that you got it.

We will approve work usually within a day. For this challenge, as it overlapped with the previous collab challenge [one that was a lot of hard work to track which members had entries in], we left the new challenge work [Greed entries] in the approval tab until the previous challenge closed. We have now emptied the gallery of the previous challenge works so it will go back to normal. Usually we will contact members if there is anything minor that needs to be done for an entry that is in approval [eg, a reminder for a tag, or something like that].

As soon as your work is either accepted or reject Ann – you will recive a notification in your activity screen. If you are not online while that happens – go to your Mybubble Section, click on activity, then on group submissions – it will be listed there, with all your other group acceptance/rejection notifications.
