Hi all ICC members

So how will this group work?

Each week, a challenge will be set and everyone will be invited to submit one piece of work on that theme. Some weeks, the theme may be right up your street, then other weeks it may not be your bag – but we encourage everyone to have a go – step out of that comfrot zone and give it your best shot.

The rules are simple and easy to follow – one entry, per challenge, based upon the theme for that week.

We have 6 moderators, who come from different genres, who will each pick one piece for the top 6 each week. These top 6 will then be put to a group member vote to find a winner.

The group will be promoted through the RedBubble community page and has the full support of RB, including their kind donation of a gift certificate each week for the winner of the challenge. Thank you RB.

So – hang on to your hats everyone, its gonna be fast, its gonna be furious and its gonna be GREAT fun.

Firstly – fantastic idea. It’s giving everyone the opportunity to develop their talents, and to ‘think outside the box’.

Quick question – are you going to have a set day as to when you’re going to set the challenges each week, or will it just be as they come up?

So the art can be presented as a tshirt design, poster, wall art, card design etc. Is that correct?

Chris – we will be deciding whether it will be art – t-shirt etc, and letting you know on the challenge

sounds great! have you decided on a particular day of the week yet when to start the challenges?

We are still working on it Marie – but it will be consistent when we make the decision. It will take a little while to set up, but should be getting news of that first challenge soon.

This is should be loads of FUN…

Love the idea – only issue I see, is that EXIF is not viewable on RB, and therefore, it will have to work on ‘trust’ regarding when the shot was taken…unless an alternate hosting site was used to check these things.

Glad you are all so eager to get involved here. Mark, I dont think EXIF will cause any issues, the challenges will involve themes, so as long as the work complies with the theme, it wont really matter too much whether the shot/work/written piece is new or old. More to come on challenge one soon.

ok so where are the weekly challenges being posted theres been 2 and the other forum topic only has week on in it
