Hello everyone, and welcome to Canada!

First off, if you’ve just joined or are visiting the forum for the first time, I want to first ad foremost thank you for joining the Canada group here on RedBubble. It’s always wonderful to see people taking pride in their country, or just giving it a little high five if you’re not from Canada. With that in mind, I would actually love to get to the point right away with what this group is all about.

The reason I created the Canada group for the most part was to showcase Canadian artists and in time create an overall Canadian portfolio that could really define Canadian artwork. Now, when it comes to Canadian artwork, in all fairness, two things will be accepted:

1) If you are Canadian, then naturally any art you produce will be Canadian art. By posting images under that criteria, people will be able to in time gain a broader understanding and respect of what Candain art is, can be, and represents. This will be a very bit and difficult task to complete since I know the artwork that will be added here wll be just as diverse as the population that inhabits this country, but it’s definitely doable.

2) Now, if you aren’t a Canadian citizen, fear not. This group is also dedicated to display work that you have dedicated to Canada, or work with a Canadian theme or motif, so feel free to contribute even if you aren’t Canadian.

Other than that, I just want to say welcome once more, and feel free to introduce yourself in the “Introduce yourself! thread right underneath this one.
