BubbleWRAP Tuesday

The Infinite is Realised; the Future is Now; and Chaos Ensues

Photoshop Creative
The challenge was to create a high-res, jaw-dropping piece of digital art based on the theme "Infinite Future Chaos". The reward? A chance to win a 30 inch Apple Cinema Display monitor or Bubble Cash and have the image published in the November issue of popular UK magazine Photoshop Creative. Now, if you've been keeping any eye on the entries you would know that this was not going to be an easy competition to judge. So we strapped RedBubble founder Paul Vanzella to a chair, plastered a 30" Cinema Display to his eyes, put the entries on cycle and set him to work.

On a serious note- the winners announcement has been withheld to date so as to coincide with the next edition of Photoshop Creative - due for distribution November 20. But now th
e time has come to 'let the cat out of the bag' and announce the winners of the RedBubble Photoshop Creative Challenge. Scoll down for all to be revealed!

Journal Thoughts, Talks and Chatter
This week Veronica Purcell introduces us to the "Frogster"; Danny takes a turn for the straight and narrow with Scott 'Resisto' Robinson after a trip down south to find Stringer; James takes us through the life of greeting cards and mounted prints; see if you spend too long on the Bubble with photogenique's addiction checklist; Damian explores the world of food; bellmusker takes part in a competition and collaboration with regeneration; oh and did someone say FREE SHIPPING??

Don't Forget
We want YOU - the RedBubble Community - to drive the inspiration and creative content of BubbleWRAP. We want you to share with us everything that excites your inner child or anything that inspires your creative pursuits. They can be in any form that you find them, be it images or designs, stories or interviews, poetry or tshirts, quotes or collaborations - the list is endless. We want BubbleWRAP to become a showcase of your brilliance.

Send any entries (such as image and tee reviews, member interviews or inspiring stories) to:

  Photoshop Creative Winner

First place goes to The Undoing of Our Doing by Enrico Bettesworth

“Awesome concept and execution, overall flavour and tonality has definite appeal, well controlled composition and well planned. Great touches with the reflection, rain and feeling of wetness and turmoil. The notion of disorder is illustrated with extreme impact through some great Photoshop work... all the elements are sympathetic to each other and serve their place within the framework. The intense feeling of action and pandemonium is so brilliantly executed! Stunning result!” — Paul Vanzella

  Second Place

Second place goes to Auto Evolution : Future Chaos by Flamejob

“ Love the evolution aspect of this image... where beast and machine have been almost united... The way the teeth and eyes bring this image to life really appeals to me... simply great execution in merging the chrome teeth... also the landscape in which this resides signifies a world unlike no other with brooding clouds and barren wasteland.... Overall execution and style of this image holds an artistic integrity and the technique is flawless. This image has a wonderful tone and flavour about it... Sensational result! ” — Paul Vanzella
