Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let you all know that the group guidelines have been revised and updated.

At any given time there are between 10 and 25 pages of images awaiting moderation simply because so many submissions are what I call “borderline” and I can’t make up my mind whether or not to include them. Yes, they are blue in a sense, but they don’t really comply with what I’m hoping to achieve in this group. And I apologize to those who have had images waiting for the past month or so.

The main change is as follows:

Vibrant blue is preferred. “Washed out blues” (like greyish skies on cloudy days, light aqua/aqua green) and blues that are too dark (nearly black) will probably be rejected/removed from the group.

And please continue to observe and adhere to the 75% blue guideline. It keeps the group looking its best.

Ther are over 1500 groups here on RedBubble and I’m sure that if this group isn’t a fit for your image, it will fit in somewhere!

Thanks for the clarification. Sorry to say, I think I submitted a lightish-blue piece (in the last hour) that won’t fit the criteria. I’ll keep the new info in mind for next time. And you’re right - there are enough groups at RB for every piece to find a fitting home. :)
