I like to feature great works. regards |

What Works Well In Some Of My Groups Is 6 A Day….But I Am Not Sure How Fast This Group Is Growing:)))))) But 2 x A Week Is Great!xoxoxox |
A week is a good time, gives everyone a chance to see them….. not everyone is on RB every day. :-) |
A fair few groups do features 2 x weekly – if the group is getting very big with LOTS of submissions of high quality that are worth it, that seems the logical way to go and even if people don’t come on to RB in those few days the features are up, they will still come up in their feeds as HAVING been featured and that’s where I click on it to ‘check out a featured image’ that catches my attention anyway… |
I agree with 2 sets of features a week max if the quality warrants it, but personally I prefer once a week as it feels more of an achievement to be featured and displayed for a longer amount of time. Plus it will cut down the length of feeds for those who belong to a lot of groups. And of course a week also allows more time to get a “glory” screenshot for those that don’t access RB every day! |
I think in a group of this size, twice a week sounds about right for changing the features. |
I think a whole week is good – if that means fewer features, then that’s not necessarily bad either – more kudos when you do crack a feature!! |
I think you are doing a stirling job and as it takes a lot to manage a group, you should do what you can in the time you have and that will be fine with me. Thanks for all your work, and a great group xx Change once a week no more than that or even less sounds like a plan, it gives more exposure and maybe limits people to putting up their very best work, instead of some of the out of focus, snap shot images we see. |
I’m with Milton and Werner – rather a one week feature – which means less features, but a longer exposure time… To me too, it feels like ‘more worth it’, and a greater achievement to be featured :) – however if you would decide on twice a week, I could live with that too ;) |
I think a week for the features is good. In the specialist Groups I host I also try to give at least a 24 hr. coverage to the 12 Images on the front page. This of course is not possible with some of the more prolific groups. But I do get a bit disappointed sometimes when I put an Image into a Group only to find it is on page 5 or 6. Who is going to scroll down to see it? However, it is your Group Garth, you decide what you think is best for you and your members. – Ted |

I’m in favor of a week, as well. |
I also think a one week feature is good. . . . It is for the very best, a whole week adds to and recognises the achievement. |
I’d say keep it to a week. As everyone said, it’s more exposure and a greater sense of achievement. |
OK, sounds like a week it is then, which does work for me too for all the reasons that you stated, thank you everyone for your input. regards |

I think a week is a great time frame. I miss alot of works that have been featured in other groups because they last only for a day. Im sure some of us don’t get to come on everyday and miss out on beautiful art that has been featured. So yeah.. I like the idea of 1 week :) Di |

I like the one week time frame as well. If the group gets to the point that you can not get all of the very good work up on the page you may want to reconsider your decision at that time. We will all support your decision there!...Dennis |

I like one week too! |
I’m in for the week as well. Gives them time and creates less work for you – the person who does it all for us! |
I agree on the week feature, it feels like it’s a decent time for it to be long enough in the spotlight. After all, it’s not everybody who can/chose to visit RB daily. /rob |

I’m with the 1 week feature gang! I do struggle to get on RB and have missed quite a lot. And i agree with Werner’s comment, if we make it to the featured page, an even greater sense of achievement. |
