Hi Everyone,
just wanted to drop a note to everyone.
The quality of some of the work being uploaded to group lately is nothing short of exceptional and you are all to be congratulated for it.
The number of colour and selecetively coloured photos being put forward is also lessening considerably so its good to see people thinking a little more instead of just ticking every box.
The challenges have been going great but I am still trying to work on the best time frame for these.
I get a few options to pick from and seem to be gravitating to 3 days to add pics and 1 day to vote.
First one I did was 1 week and 1 week and I got impatient and wanted to see the results.
I also like 1 day and 1 day so might throw a few of those in too but as people dont always come on every day this option might not be fair to some people.
Dont be scared to let me know what you think of the timeframes.

All in all – keep up the brilliant work and I look forward to seeing more of your great pics.

Hey Garth…
Been noticing how fabulous the work has been, too!
As for the challenges… Feels as though the longer it runs from start to finish, the less interest remains. I don’t know about anyone else, obviously, but I’ve noticed that the majority of votes go in rather quickly, (within a few days) and then it trails off. And we wait :-)
This probably doesn’t help you much, but there’s my penny’s worth anyway!
SO happy with this group. Such great work to look through.

I two think shorter is better. Maybe give members a heads up on the next challenge and when it will open and closing date.

I like the shorter time frames also. But then I understand that not everyone can log on every day (how can then not??!!).

Like you said, Garth….the work being submitted is amazing! Well done, everyone….and pat-on-the-back to you Garth for doing such a great job. It is really appreciated!

I vote for the shortest times, 1 or 2 days to enter, 1 day to vote. But then I’m the impatient type :)

Yes, I agree too. Maybe anything by 3 days to add pictures and 2 for voting. The longer it takes the less interest may remain. Maybe leave a notice saying something like… “in a week there is a challenge coming up called so and so go out and take pictures ;))”
All in all, I really like this group and you all do a great job !! ;)

Great wok and also agree on the length of challenges.. Also if the entry time is shorter then there are fewer images to vote through which is often better because often i find that if there are 80 or so, i will look at the first few and then leave.
