This is my other sister and her daughter, with son on the way. This photo won 2nd place for the Spring ‘08 artshow. It came out blurry and I edited it to the Orton effect, but it didn’t come out that well. Sorry!

As some may have seen throughout my art this year its mostly based on Creation birth or new life… as my Best friend over seas has been Pregnant over the past 41 weeks… and today she told me she had a few hours of Contractions during the night… i was lost for words and mixed emotions took over lol so excited but at the same time trying to be just there for her… which is hard beeing 12,000KMs away lol I suddenly had like 1001 questions to ask her but tried to calm my self as i didnt want to bother her with them lol so the past 4-5 hours ive been trying to relate art to her early contractions in some way… so tried to use Love hearts to explore this as the baby slowly makes its way to the outside world… so came up with this simple art work… im hoping all goes smoothly for her in the next few days… will make some more art when the little one arrives : )
