You’re probably wondering what this image is…well, it’s my old shower curtain hooks! They’re standing up on their sides, keeping each other up. It was a hard process to keep them standing at the same time, but the image in the end was rewarding. I find it rather unusual; shower curtain hooks holding each other up, instead of their generic friend, the shower curtain. I thought it resembled a playground and had a bright feeling to it. Hope you like it! This is a representation of me because I really enjoy finding new ideas, and making use of readily available things/ideas that we would normally put aside for one specific reason. I love to stretch the potential in my life and enjoy thinking the future will be bright.
When I first got my new camera, an Olympus E-410 I had to try out lots of things, particularly shots inspired by out artists here on RB. So I had to try out water drops, I was pretty happy with my first attempt using food colouring. As I was lucky enough to get 2 different colour drops. I never thought to put it up, but when I saw the Homepage pic, thought ah why not. So here is my first attempt. Not tried it since. But I am sure I will some day.

Schlegeis reservoir, or artificial lake, lies in south west Austria. The mountains in the skyline are actually in Italy. On that day we hiked past this lake to the Italian border, some 15 kilometers. Reaching Italy, we quenched our thirst on some Italian beer and walked back. Nikon D50 / Nikkor 18-79 f/3.5-4.5G / Aperture: f/9.0 / Shutter: 1/250 sec / Focal Length: 24mm / ISO: 200 / . /
