This is an extremely remote location only accessible by 4 wheel drive vehicle. I am very fortunate that I know the owners of this land and I intend to return again at the end of this summer. This image was from a photo taken in 1989, when on an image scout with my Broken Hill mate Clark, it was a windy type day, outside of the ute all you could hear was the moaning of the wind spirits through the blue bush. We got some great images that day, I’m still painting from those pics.

This line and wash painting is of the Enterprise headframe one of many such structures that once dotted the skyline of the goldfields .Today there is only one working headframe left the rest have been replaced by open cut mining namely the Superpit the largest opencut mine in the southern hemisphere.

This waterfall is a popular spot for tourists & bush / walkers. / There is a great swimming spot at the top of the falls.
Oil on Canvas / size approx.45 cm x 60cm I can never be really sure if a painting is finished … and even though this one probably isn’t, I like it and don’t really want to touch it … yet. / This was one of the first paintings that I did, after my Dad died. I hadn’t done anything in so long and then, I just started again – the way you sometimes do. Now painting this is another memory.
