Welcome to the new forum for “The Fine Art of Photography” group! I’m hoping that this will become a great place for us to interact and as a resource for some great information.

I’ve created a couple of different forums for us:

The Front Desk:

1. this is where you will see general updates, guidelines and other boring but necessary administrative stuff
2. its also a place to tell those stuffy, annoying moderators what you really think of the group and how you would run things if you were in charge (in other words, give us your feedback and suggestions!) :)
3. check this area frequently for updates

The Cafe:

1. a place to sit, relax, grab an espresso a chocolate biscotti and just unwind
2. say what you want, talk about what you want, just do your best not to upset the other patrons :)

Exhibits

1. here is where you get to brag about and promote your current shows, exhibits, craft fairs or anywhere else where we can find your work in person.

Future Endeavors

1. working on something new? got something big coming up that you’ve just gotta share? just starting with your plans? well, shout it out here

Artist Bios

1. this is a place to introduce yourself to the rest of the group and tell us who you are and why you do, what you do
2. it’s also gives us a chance to know how our fellow artists are

This will be a bit of an organic process so things will evolve over time. Feel free to shout out your suggestions and ideas….

Really loving it…however, is there a place for “real” critiques?

I think it would be great, it’s so useful in really learning to see your own art. Can be painful ;-) but good!
