The Challenge

The first Fine Art of Photography challenge has arrived!
Post your best portrait – posed, formal or candid.
Portraits are to be of humans :)
Feel free to get ‘creative’, providing you keep within the guidelines.
Submissions need not be already in the group gallery.

Judging / Voting Criteria

All submissions need to meet the criteria of the group guidelines. A submission that does not, will be removed from the challenge at our leisure. Our guidelines are particularly strict – please read them very carefully…

When voting, please consider the photographic skill, the emotion or story from the shot, the technical quality and the originality.

Rewards & Prizes

The reward is…...dadadadada!!!! – acceptance into the group gallery :)
May not sound like much, but since we have around a 1% acceptance rate – it is more than it sounds.

The top three portraits will be included in our gallery.
The overall winner will be featured, as will the photograph.

Additional Information

Works need to stand on their own photographic merit – we do not accept the usual heavy post-processing commonly found in this genre – that includes skin softening.

We do not accept bribes.
Well, we would, but only if they are extremely massive.
