This is my first Music Inspired Art, this was a lot more difficult than you might think for so uncomplicated a scene. Please listen to this song, Let Joy and Innocence Prevail I can hardly bear to hear it ever since 9/11… Comments are of course welcome. “Let Joy and Innocence Prevail” I tell you of a girl, her husband was a soldier, / Gone to war in some strange country far away; / No word had come to her, but the rumors of great battles fought, / And dying in their thousands, and the world full of fear; As the day would turn to evening, she would light a pure white candle, / And place it in a window bright from where it could be seen, / As she placed it in the window softly without thinking, / She said, “Let this burning candle be a beacon” Let joy and innocence prevail, / Let joy and innocence prevail, / Believe that love will never fail, / Let joy and innocence prevail! And one night, asleep, / She dreamed she saw her husband fall / In a great white cavalry charge, And waking in tears, / She saw the candle burning in the window / She still had hope; And through the window / A man in the distance, / But as he came closer, / She saw he was a stranger; The stranger said, “I bring a message from a general, / A captain has been wounded, his life hangs by a thread; / He calls out your name, and he wishes you to come to him, / But the journey is a hard road, and you may be afraid” And she laughed and said, “No road could be too hard, for I am fearless, / A captain and a husband, I have gained this bright new day” / And she said with all her heart, she would fly to be beside him. / And her love would heal his wounds, restore him to her; Let joy and innocence prevail, / Let joy and innocence prevail, / Believe that love will never fail, / Let joy and innocence prevail! Let joy and innocence prevail, / Let joy and innocence prevail, / Believe that love will never fail, / Let joy and innocence prevail!
Vue render – I took a shortcut and re-used my set from Embrace Full-sized view 1680×150px here
My friend JuliaN never ceases to amaze me. He recently had a whole new set of fountains put in because the ones he had were too “blah”. He had to show me what these looked like flying over in the hovercraft at night, by moonlight and with a soft breeze blowing. I have to admit, they are quite breathtaking. I hope you enjoyed this as much as I did. :o) Created in Apophysis 3D Hack. Postwork in Photoshop.
Here i’ve used Terai Yuki for a change / Rendered in Daz|Studio, postwork Photoshop
Salome / Available as an art print, card, canvas, mounted print and poster. The tetrarch Herod Antipas in defiance of all laws, married Herodias, the wife of his living brother Philip. St. John the Baptist reprehended the tetrarch and his accomplice for so scandalous an incest and adultery, and Herod, urged on by lust and anger, and perhaps political aims cast the Saint into prison. About a year after St. John had been made a prisoner, Herod gave a splendid entertainment to the nobility of Galilee. Salome, a daughter of Herodias by her lawful husband, pleased Herod by her dancing, insomuch that he promised her to grant whatever she asked. Whether she danced or not is in contention…let’s say entertained;) / / On this, Salome consulted with her mother what to ask. Herodias instructed her daughter to demand the death of John the Baptist, and persuaded the young damsel to make it part of her petition that the head of the prisoner should be forthwith brought to her in a dish. / This strange request startled the tyrant himself; he assented, however, and sent a soldier of his guard to behead the Saint in prison, with an order to bring his head in a charger and present it to Salome. / Surely there must have been a moment when Salome questioned her mother’s request and felt some remorse. / The story tells Salome married well and went on to live a happy life…but you have to wonder about the quiet moments, did she ever reflect on what she had been part of…? 3D and digital painting, the head of St John is a copy of the Caravaggio head…as I think he did the best ever version;) Image copyright © 2009 Shanina Conway. / Copying and displaying or redistribution of this image without permission from the artist is strictly prohibited

This is a collaboration with my friend Zooreka. I took 3 of Zoo’s fractal images and applied each to a terrain object as an altitude map: the lighter and white parts got real tall, the darker and black parts dipped down low. / These are Zooreka’s originals: ...and here’s how they look in Vue before adding textures and atmosphere: The foreground is part of the spikes of Shroomsbury, on the right the heights of Epping Forest, and rising majestic on the horizon, the spires of Way To Blue. Our Zooreka Herbals limo is one smooth ride, headed for the small village near the coast. Hope you like it, Zoo!!!!!
Crunched the damn pixels on this one, to be sure! ~ Background stock image (girl) courtesy of NikxStock
Groboto and Bryce Looks to me like a bunch of viruses invading the blood.
There is nothing cuter than owlets. They are all eyes, fuzz and beaks when they are babies. This little guy, though, is not fuzzy, but very lacy. Must be a lace owl or something. ;o) Created in Apophysis 3D Hack.

I wish the female was one of the good guys but she’s a villain and in the OVA shes the one who beats the crap out of Sho/Guyver 1 next to her. Classic anime, fun times and this is also the 5th version I plan to create Dark Female Guyver 3 wish me luck. Oh fyi designs for the planets I created in Bryce and used Poser for the characters and photoshop the scene with bit of color enchancing effects for the stars and all, yeah I’m nice like that, lol!!!!
View from across the lander looking easterly towards the Plain of Aeschylus and the Orkasdian Mountains bathed in red mist on this strange planet. With its ice and its only vegetation that of a moss-like plant that seems to proliferate in many areas on its surface. The mist, which is unbreathable, seems to be ephemeral returning at unpredictable times. The twin moons are topographically similar but have no ice. In the far future humans are being experimented on and thus the display of enhance abilities has become a way of life now. But in some others use there powers for good others for evil gains, hers is the ability to control light and sub-zero abilities allowing to to freeze surfaces and objects at will. This is the 6th Pin-Up illustration I made last year but never could find it until today. So enjoy!!!
