There is another part of me that feels empty. Hatred becomes me. My revenge are your nightmares. When you see me I will take away what you have taken from me. I will suck your life out into me.

Originally acrylic painting. Little poem I wrote to illustrate a content the painting, but please note I am not good at writing a poem. I lie still in my bed, / Listening to an orchestra of the deepened night. Far, far above in the blue moon, there is a sound of, / The lonesome heart beats of a dark angle for longings, / The cries of trapped souls for freedom, / The murmur of lost souls for eternal rest. Whispers of the lovers echo through the eternal universe, / Even though an origin of them differs, / they speak the common language of love. I lie still in my bed, / Waiting for night rest to visit. / A clock starts to race with tomorrow. / The seeps start to jump over a fence. / A monster awakes once more from darkness. I lie still in my bed, / Listening a fading sound of the night. / I hear a night going to sleep, / I hear morning’s laughter on lighting horizon.
God is always holding me, molding me.
What has been opened can not be unopened, but remember hope always remains.

Look into the eyes of this clown. Do you see even a little part of your own soul? If the answer is YES, Betty has achieved her goal. There are several ways to express happiness, pain or other emotions in art. An artist I know said “Every artist paints or draws at least one clown in their career”. Why do you as the viewer suppose this is true? Personally, I think it is. Why? – because it is a way to express the pain or joy we all feel in any given time in our lives. / As many of the portraits of clowns in times past, an illustration of the personal frustration with the circumstances we all face in our lives reflects in this work. The Orignal painting was sold to an Art Collector from NY. Original: / Mixed Media, Watercolor and Soft Pastel on Paper, 16/20in
