Electric Brain / Science fiction has been mentioning artificial intelligence for decades. However it’s becoming more and more a reality. Robots are being build to resemble humans in every way and computers are able to proces data with superhuman speed. / So what will the future bring for humanity? Do we all have a robot clone which takes over our day job, so that we can do whatever we like? Or are we going to be upgraded with implants to make our brains work faster and more efficient? / This may be a distant future, but this t-shirt will bring the future to you! This is also my entry for the Halftone challenge, the halftones are in the brain as can be seen in the detail image below. / Detail image / Other t-shirts / /

i feel like with all this war and hatred in the world….we could all use some peace….
Isn’t this the best?! Adolf Hitler was enraged at the great popularity of those foreign movies, and was most angry when he was told that members of the Nazi party would sometimes come to assemblies with Mickey Mouse pins on their lapels. Anyway, this is where this statement led me…hope you enjoy! —-—-—-—-—-—-—-- The Rorschach inkblot test is a method of psychological evaluation in which subjects’ perceptions of inkblots are recorded and then analyzed using, depending on the psychologist, intuitive insight, complex scientifically derived algorithms, or both. Some psychologists use this test to try to examine the personality characteristics and emotional functioning of their patients. It has been employed in diagnosing underlying thought disorder and differentiating psychotic from nonpsychotic thinking in cases where the patient is reluctant to admit openly to psychotic thinking. / source This test was created by German psychologist Hermann Rorschach in 1921. —-—-—-—-—-—-——- After Hitler’s takeover in 1933, Mickey Mouse initially remained on the German scene; but in 1941, when war was declared on the USA, he was banned in Germany. Hitler actually enjoyed Disney’s shorts. However, when he saw the 1929 Mickey Mouse cartoon, The Barnyard Battle, his opinion quickly changed. The short depicted World War I German soldiers as feline foils for Mickey. This could have been a reason that eventual lead towards the character being banned from Nazi Germany. / source detail: /
The green house, or energy saving lighthouse. Just think how much you’d save… This is a revamp of an old (hand drawn) design which has risen again hopefully in better shape. With the global economy caught in the gravity of the financial crisis, it’s sad that programs like the Constellation Project will have a long wait before anything truly gets off the ground. / / NASA’s Constellation Project is set up to finish the International Space Station, retire the Shuttle Fleet and build a whole new fleet of space vehicles which will take us back to the Moon, then Mars and then the places beyond. / / But with Congressional limitations and funding cutbacks due to the financial crisis, as well as being stuck with a complicated and restrictive “go as you pay” finance structure it’s unlikely we’ll be seeing any groundbreaking manned space flights in the naughties. / / This image represents a fleeting memory of a childhood dream to see man explore our planets and then the stars beyond and it’s one of the few things as a child I looked up to America for. / / The universe is a big place and we’re yet to make it out of our solar system but without programs like the Constellation Project, man may never ever get to make another giant leap. / / DETAIL / / / /

What has the world come to?
He comes in the night. Silent and alone. Losing his painted identity he slips between shadows with a silent ease that can only come from centuries of perfecting the hunt. Climbing stealthily through the open window, making no sound he fills the room with a permeating stench of malevolence. No time wasted. No scraps left. He feeds. Not only feasting on the flesh, but devouring the soul. He laughs to himself quietly. They come to him by the millions. Like lambs to the slaughter. Worshiping him in his tiled, grease filled, chemically cleaned temple they sacrifice their health on his sesame seed alter. They call him Ronald. My submission for the Social Conscience challenge.
