I have noticed a few new members of our group over the last few days, so felt it was time to remind people of the few rules we have in place. You will find them at the base of the home page of our group For those finding their work might have been rejected, here is a follow up explanation outlining how you can avoid rejection . Whilst some seem to think these rules make us dictatorial and judgemental, I assure you that is not the case at all. We see Redbubble as a showcase of your best photography, and use this group to show the best photographs of South Australia. Therefore we would like to see your BEST photography. We want you to upload artwork that looks good to you and your family, plus would look great framed and hanging at the Art Gallery of South Australia . Postscript. Postscript 2 and BTW. |

While there are guidelines etc to help maintain the focus of the group, which is accepted and supported by most…can we see a consistency on the time taken for moderation – at times I have found this can take close to 14 days and other times perhaps 3-4 days. What then happens is that a large group of images get approved at once and images can end up on page 3 or 5 or so. This is further exacerbated if people are uploading a heap of images at the same time. Hence expectations really must go both ways to keep a good interest and participation within any group. I look forward to what you, other hosts and group members’ thoughts are for this, and what are other thoughts on ensuring this is a vibrant and interesting group. |

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder… So… ... why not open up moderating so that images and artwork are accepted instantly. To keep an eye on the quality, we hosts could flick through them at our own pace and reject (politely) those that don’t have descriptions or are not of South Australia. The hosts could also remove any extra images if someone happened to submit more than two or three at a time. That way, the problem that Jim and many others keep coming across is fixed and the hosts still get to keep an eye on the quality of submissions. |

Thankyou GG for responding and adding your thoughts. I think my point is made – 3-4 days to gain a reply, and this comment plus my original comment had to be read, considered – ie: moderated before any other person in this group can give it some consideration and add to the discussion. Moderated art submissions: – works if there are the resources to have moderation happening frequently and regularly Moderated discussions:- just …. .... well perhaps I really shouldn’t say without a safe filter on Well in actual fact it is not discussion it is just unassociated in time statements which are displayed with no transparency of what has possibly gone before or after. |

It’s just gone 1am and I’ve just found your message here. I apologise for my tardiness, it’s been a little busy at work this past week. |
