Flickr-SA SALA Exhibition Date : Thursday, July 31st The Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu says that all movement arises from stillness and returns to stillness. A diverse group of South Australian photographers present an exhibition of our perceptions of movement. Our photos are still, by necessity, and restricted to two dimensions on a flat canvas; yet we may convey movement by being artful. Some may choose, like the I Ching, to imply movement in stillness. We must be more inventive and merely suggest motion in the potential energy of our suspended images. Come meet the artist and view their work. |
