  • Leafy Ribbons by Lucy Hollis

Pretty leaves, I set my camera to a slowish shutterspeed and then whooshed my camera along the leaf. I kind of liked the result!

  • Sidmouth Pebbles by NATURELENS

Sidmouth Pebbles. Sidmouth (Devon, UK) is at the western edge of the Jurassic Coastline (a World Herritage site). The Jurassic coastline forms a dramatic cliff line for many miles, the cliffs changing every few miles from Red to White, Golden to Grey to Black. Many fossils can easily be found on the famous beaches of Lyme Regis and Charmouth. The Red cliffs (left) are formed from ancient deserts.

  • arrowtown trees by Ian Robertson

I’ve been waiting for years to come across a tree covered mountain with the right lighting etc… unfortunately it started raining when in New Zealand. The image is basically out of camera with only a slight desaturation in editing, no filter effects. It’s amazing how lighting can make or break an image (and your heart sometimes). Hope you enjoy it.

  • Skull Rocks by Travis Easton

Skull Rocks are located at South-east point at Wilsons Promontory a few hundred meters from the Lighthouse. This huge set of granite tors has been shaped and moulded by the forces of wind and rain on this incredibly exposed piece of land making for some nice abstracts for the photographer. The day I took this shot was practly cloudless so when this one came into frame I quickly shot off a frame barely taking the time to compose or check my exposure fortunately it all worked. For more shots from this area check out my Wilsons Promontory gallery. 10% of all profits go to the Wilderness Society
