Another step in my attempts to understand lighting… I wanted to show off the flowing lines of this celery, covering a complete tonal range. Although I did manage to bring out the texture, I still find the flash (even if diffused) too harsh for this kind of setup so I think my next attempt would be to make a softbox of some kind, to provide the same level of contrast, but with a more evenly diffused lighting.
