done on a sunny holiday once. mixed media – watercolour base, pen, pastel and colour pencils to complete the job on watercolour paper
The story was started and then ended with a push of an anguished and clumsy fist. Actually I had indented to write something else, but an accidental push of the fatty area below my thumb (I’m sure it has some proper name but I don’t know it) slid down onto the little spot that enters items. / So there you go. I’m lost my train of thought. / Such is living in the cyberworld where my one time poetic push of inspiration is drained with the slide of skin. / The story of being heavy will have to wait till another time. / This painting is acrylic on canvas 24”x24” and had nothing to do with being heavy anyway.

acrylic, encaustic on paper. ALL my abstract works of art are mostley done intuitively; I am affected and inspired by music; no painting is done without music; music is inalienable. see my profile.. this work was result with this song: / A Perfect Evening for Flying Carpets
FIREWORKS AND FRACTALIUS!! / Sitting in our front yard watching the free show from the University of Redlands, California.
Our brief for one of our uni projects was “On and Off” – such a simple way of introducing the simpler side of collagraphs. This was my submission for that project. Printed on Hahnemulle 280gsm – such a soft yet strong paper.
Shot last night at the Ontario Place Symphony of Fire display. Thanks to my good friend Peter for lending me a tripod since silly me left mine in the back of a 1960’s red converable jag (got to love flying through Niagara on the Lake in that!!!) and that car is now hundreds of miles away. Hopefully my tripod will come home one day, in the meantime Peter you are my hero. Nikon D200, Nikkor 24-120mm
